Location and how to get there
|

Located a short distance from world-famous Manuel Antonio National Park,
the recently opened El Parador provides a private and serene ambiance, a true sense of
European luxury in a tropical paradise.
There are a variety of interesting and fun ways to travel to Hotel Parador.
For the traveler wanting to see as much of the countryside as possible,
the hotel is approximately 3.5 hours south of San Jose's Juan Santamaria
International Airport. From the airport, take the Pan American Highway west
approximately 10 kilometers (6 miles). Take a right on the exit ramp for Atenas,
then a left at the signs pointing towards Atenas, crossing over the Pan American
Highway and following the signs to Jaco, then to Quepos. Once in Quepos, follow
the hotel signs to Manuel Antonio. Hotel Parador is the first right turn past the
Barbaroja restaurant on the road to Punta Quepos. Once on the road, Hotel Parador
is at the end, approximately 2.5 kilometers (1.3 miles) from the main road.

top of the 400-acre Punta Quepos, the resort covers five hectares, providing a 360 degree
panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean and its spectacular sunsets.

Rooms

Standard Room: Most of our 25 standard rooms offer spectacular views of the
Pacific Ocean and jungle, all rooms have a porch area and are equipped with a king-size
or two queen-size beds. All rooms are air conditioned and have ceiling fans. The standard
rooms have showers and hairdryers. The standard room furthermore offers a dresser, desk,
satellite television, telephone and sitting area both inside and outside. All rooms have
sliding doors and screens.

Deluxe Room: As with the standard rooms, all 20 deluxe rooms offer fantastic views
of the ocean and the jungle. The difference with the standard rooms is that the deluxe rooms
offer refrigerators and bathtub/shower with hair dryer. First floor rooms offer a porch area
and second floor rooms offer balconies with sitting area. All rooms offer a dresser, desk,
satellite television, telephone, air conditioning and sitting areas. The deluxe rooms area
slightly larger than the standard rooms. The rooms offer a king-size or two queen-size beds.
All deluxe rooms have sliding doors and screens.

Premium: Each of our suites is very spacious and equipped with soft leather furnishings dining
table, wet bar, coffee maker, refrigerator and some offer full kitchens. The suite offer a
king-size or two queen-size beds. All suites offer satellite television with built-in VCRs.
The bathrooms are spectacular and decorated with Italian marble. They are roomy, and all
feature a Jacuzzi. Besides the usual first-class amenities such as bathrobes, all bathrooms
are equipped with a double sink and hairdryers. All suites have sliding doors and screens. Some
suites are as high as 120 meters (130 yards) above sea level, and often migrating whales and
jumping dolphins can be observed right from your balcony. Each day, you are almost guaranteed
to see some of the abundant wildlife including monkeys, large iguanas, anteaters, pizotes and
sloth. Thousands of flowers adorn the area around the suites.

Presidential Suite: The best for last. The Christopher Columbus Presidential Suite measures 172 m2
and is truly one of the most unique suites in all of Costa Rica. We would like to boast that is the best suite
in Costa Rica! No less than three bedrooms, each furnished with a queen or king-size bed. The living room measures
54 m2 and is equipped with a wet bar, dining room, soft leather furnishings, antiques and tasteful artifacts, tables
and chairs, a television in each room, central air conditioning, two balconies, sliding doors and screens.
